Four things you didn’t know we do at Organised You

People often ask what it is we do at Organised You, to which I instinctively reply by reeling off a whole host of services that, quite frankly, overwhelm most people within the first few seconds! Essentially, we provide both ad hoc and regular administrative support to small businesses who want or need to become more organised. But what we actually provide for our customers on a daily basis goes far beyond these standard services.

So here are just a few of the other things we offer at Organised You:

Workshops 

Workshops are a great low cost way for clients and other small business owners to get together and learn more about an area of their business in which they feel they’re lacking experience, or perhaps confidence. At Organised You, we offer a range of small, informal workshops that we run locally for small business owners, such as our recent sell-out session, ‘Bookkeeping Basics’. If you’re interested in attending one of our forthcoming training sessions, check out our Facebook events page for more details.

New year, new business plan! Our next workshop – Business Planning – will take place on 13th January 2020, from 13.00-15.00, in Cranbrook. If you fancy getting together with a small group of fellow business owners to focus on your plans for 2020 and beyond, then join us as we share thoughts, and work together to set goals and plan how to achieve them. You’ll leave with a completed one-page business plan and a choice of one of our favourite business advice books to help you maintain your motivation throughout the year. On-site work 

 Many clients think that because we follow a modern-day approach to working – i.e. flexible hours and homeworking to accommodate those of us who are working parents – we never actually get to spend time with clients. In fact, we’re quite a sociable bunch, and love the opportunity to work on-site in our clients’ offices. Some of our staff work on-site with clients each week and we often attend meetings at client locations, to help us understand their business and feel like part of their team. We know that remote support isn’t for everyone, and to us flexible doesn’t mean remote. If you’d like to see a little more ‘OY presence’ in your shop, offices or even at home, then do let us know.

 Phone answering service

If you’ve got a nagging feeling that you deserve a holiday, but can’t even begin to think about leaving your business unattended, then taking advantage of a professional phone answering service could just give you the break you so desperately need. By setting up a call diversion to a mobile phone in our office, you can rest assured that one of our team will be dedicated and available to answer calls in a professional manner between set times during the week. Content writing

Everyone can write, right? Well in theory, yes. But in our experience, content writing always seems to be one task that remains firmly at the bottom of our clients’ to-do list, and there’s a good reason for it. Having a eureka moment about a business objective, or being passionate about your products or services is one thing, but actually getting those ideas out of your head and into your relevant marketing channels in a fluid and engaging way, is quite another. Many of our clients simply don’t have the time or motivation to put their thoughts onto paper, which is why they ask us to create compelling copy for them – be it a blog post, sales brochure or social media posts.
